Calls For Botox Warnings After 16 People Die From Cosmetic Jab

Consumer groups are warning that Botox jabs can kill.

Poisonous Botox jabs have been blamed for the deaths of 16 people, including four children.



A further 87 people have been hospitalised by the cosmetic drug, leaving consumer groups calling for

... new warnings to be announced.

The procedure, which is used to get rid of wrinkles, was used by more than 55,000 people over the past year.

A host of celebrities including Sir Cliff Richard, Sharon Osbourne and glamour model Jordan, are among more than one million people in the UK who have "signed up" to the treatment.

Would you receive a darwin award for dying after allowing a doctor to inject poison in your face, or would it only be a darwin award for the doctor would injects their own face and perishes? I think receiving the treatment, medical evidence of its safety or not, at least qualifies as an honorable mention, as vanity is the cause of death.
