Which airline do you like the best? Try to base you answer on service, price, food and of course the routes they offer. |

I've still never flown Singapore Airlines but my experiences on Cathay have been consistently outstanding. For service, I think Korean Air and Asiana are also phenomenal. One you overlooked is Malaysia Airlines. The airline's management suffers a bit because of the tendency for Malaysia's politicians to interfere. The result is a slightly weird route network and inconsistent branding (not unlike the country itself). On the other hand, they rank alongside the best in Asia for a lot of the things that matter to passengers. Great legroom too, and surprisingly decent food. |

No suprise that Air Canada is the worst, especially domestically. I've flown Singapore Airlines. Unfortunately it was a mere 20 minute hop from Kuala Lumpur to Singapore, hardly enough time to objectively judge their service. |

No surprise that Singapore Air and Cathay Pacific are both at the top seeing as every year they are both at the top of the real rankings, or at least in the top 5. I voted Cathay Pacific, but Qatar Airways is better. |

Air Canada HAS to be good because I'm flying that impossibly long Sydney - Vancouver trip with them. Twice.
It's going to be fantastic. |

Singapore Air is the best I've ever flown. But Emirates is a very close second. |

I refuse to fly with Cathay Pacific after my latest trip:
2 hours late leaving Seoul
4.5 hours late leaving Manila (engine problem)
2 hours late leaving Hong Kong (another engine problem on a different aircraft) |

I voted Cathay.
They showed great customer service after that last time the Korean farmers union threw a hissy fit in HK.

Flying Malaysia for the first time next week...looking forward to it! |

Aside from Emirates, on which I've never flown, Singapore is head and shoulders above the rest, and Cathay's my #2. |

Cathay Pacific.
Based on - Cheapest flight from South Africa to Korea, and the total travelling time including lay-over is about 18hours vs. 23-30 hours from the other airlines. Also, their webpage is very user-friendly, and the overall service from the airline is solid. |

Only among these? I've only flown Singapore, the received-wisdom-number-one, once, so I can't say that it beats Thai, which picked me up at midnight in Pakistan and kindly, solicitously boozed me up after eight weeks of dryness in Skardu and K2 base.
Thai has also served as a great inter-Asian airline for me for many years. Not always so very great, especially on flights to India, Nepal, and Pakistan, but the good attitude is there. |

I like Cathay and Singapore airline the best.
I've flown from Canada to Korea on Korean air and the thing that bothers me is why there are no individual tvs at the back of the seat? for such a long flight I thought there would be. Korean air to other short destinations they have tvs.
This is the same with Air Canada.
Asiana I did not like the flight attendants. Everytime I pressed the attendant button for someone to please give me the immigration form, they would walk by turn it off and walk away quickly as I am speaking. And it wasn't with one flight attendant but the 3 different ones! Near the end I just shouted as I pressed the button. |
