OK, so there's a guy who travels around the world and does a silly dance in front of famous places. He originally shot a video on his own trip around the world. It was very popular on YouTube (number 2 on most viewed travel video of all time) and he received sponsorship from a gum company to do it again.
Anyway he's in Seoul and you can be in his next video.
I like this guys philosophy. Check out his website
http://www.wherethehellismatt.com/
You have to sign a release if you want to be in the video. I've seen a couple interviews with this guy. He seems really nice. I wish I could be there. He asks people to show up twenty minutes early for the dance.
Here's a quote off of the event on Facebook.
The last video was about places. This one is about people. LOTS of people.
So I'm not too concerned about the background. I just want a place where
people can gather and dance badly without getting into too much trouble.
The location is in front of Namdaemun (The Southern Gate) in Seoul on
Tuesday, January 29th. We will dance at 6pm.

Any chance you could re-word that so it makes some kind of cohesive sense? |

Wouldn't it be better (since this shot is for "Korea") that it was fused with as many Koreans as possible, rather than a bunch of waygooks???....just a thought.
Not sure Matt would want this posted here, to be honest. He invited via email only...IE; those that registered on his site preveiously.
of course, i could be wrong |

I'd love to participate with my son, but sadly it won't fit into my schedule. |

Alright, now I've changed my tune, sorry for the prev. xeno bs.
Matt was waiting at Dongdaemun... seems he made a mistake. When he finally realized it, and made it to Namdaemun few people were left.
He sends sincere apologies and will try again, on Thursday Jan. 31st at 10 pm...same time, same place.
"That's NAMdaemun MAtt!!!!"
I can't make it but will send a horde of Korean mafia types. |

Sorry, sorry! You are right. 6pm was the old time. someone told him that alot of people teach till late, so he changed it to 10 pm.
here's directly from his email:
<quote>I feel terrible about all the people I didn't get to meet. I know this
is a
lot to ask, but I would like to try again at the same location
(Namdaemun)
on Thursday, January 31st. I have been advised that 6pm was a difficult
time
for most people and I now know there is plenty of light to get the shot
at
night, so I would like to meet at 10pm this time. Once again:
Location: Namdaemun
Date: Thursday, January 31st
Time: 10pm<end quote> |
