If the guy is being boisterous about the whle thing (and apparently obvious in his intentions), why are the Korean coworkers not picking up on it as well?

Basically, I'm doubting this story. I know you've said a number of times that it is true, but just saying so, doesn't make it so.

If he is really doing all that you say, why not simply head to the local police station (with a Korean translator) and ask them?

You should post it on Dave's ESL Cafe and hope for the best.

I would make a mental note of who he sleeps with and stay far away from them. Better yet just pick up women at another uni.

First off. thjere are several problems with the OP's original story. The only serious STD that fits your description would probably be Herpes Simplex 2 (HSV2). How long has he had it? Because simply, the herpes virus pretty much busts you up for approximately 1 year and then your body's immune system kicks it into submission and outbreaks become less and less. When the virus is in submission it will not be transferred to a partner however in a process called shedding the partner can be infected without the presence of sores but the likelyhood of this phenomenon, as outbreaks of sores, becomes less likely over time. There are, in fact couples where 1 person has the Virus and the other does not simply because they abstain from sex during outbreaks. In the advenced stages it is not uncommon to suffer no more than one outbreak per year with lessening intensity in subsequent outbreaks. So if this guy is totally under the weather 24/7 then I would also be headed down to get an HIV test to see if the immune system was being supressed because normal healthy people's should take care of the virus in time. Most people infected with HSV2 eventually lead normal lives and if this guy hasn't then there is something wrong. Also, the OP's describing him as taking gals home left and right..... please.... most of us who really have been here a while know that Korean girls are not Pattaya street gals that will just fall into bed with any Tom. Dirk, and Harry that comes along. Even drop dead handsome gusy that I knew that were here for 5 years and spoke fluent Korean couldn't pull off those kind of feats.

If the OP was serious about stopping this guy, then he/she would post a pic of the perp and let the internet do the rest.

Yeah, just put together a boot party and quit annoying us with this freak.

This is, by the way, one of the scummiest, lowest things I ever heard. Unfortunately I don't believe in karma. It sounds like this guy does though, provided he's real, and he's paying back random girls. Anyone who does crap like that deserves to be dragged through the streets naked.

Well I was able to read the OP before it was deleted, and I found a copy in my history. Here is what it used to say:

Sooke wrote:
OK, first of all, this isn't a troll post. This is 100% serious and true.

There's a guy who has just been told that he will not be re-hired with the school that he is at. he has been here in Korea teaching at the same school for 7+ years. His dismissal was 100% legal by Korean labor law, yet he somehow feels he's been f@cked over by the the school, the labor ministry, and Korea in general. He has vowed to spread his STD to as many Korean women as he can, because in his words: "f@ck them, they wouldn't know the difference anyway".

Somehow, in his selfish, twisted thinking, he feels all Koreans are responsible for him being "F@cked over." I know for a fact he has a particular STD (contracted here in Korea) that is very serious, and very contagious. In fact, the STD is so bad, it has driven him to the point of near madness, and has resulted in him seeing a shrink to help cope with the pain and itching that the STD gives him.

The last few weeks, I (and others) have seen him pick up and take home a significant number of students and TAs from our school, for the express purpose of infecting them with his STD (we work at a university so the students are all of legal age). He is considered very handsome by Korean standards, and is a pretty buff guy because he went to university on a football scholarship (a fact he doesn't fail to remind us of when we say what he is doing is wrong-he threatens us with physical violence if we try to interfere with him, and he is big enough and unstable enough to put us in our place-even to the point of physically assaulting other foreign teachers who try to stop him).

All in all, the guy is a selfish @sshole who gets pleasure knowing he is infecting people with his STD.

My question is, how can we stop him-legally?

Again, please don't think this is a BS troll post by an angry kyopo, teacher, soldier, or anything of the sort. This is 100% true, and it makes me sick knowing he is doing this.

Although I am the last person to forgive Koreans for their trespasses in regards to labor law or their treatment of foreigners at language schools, this entire situation makes me sick, and I would like to do anything I can to try and stop it-without bringing a *beep* down upon english teachers in general.

What should I (we) do???

Please, no BS responses, or accusations of trolling, because this is the real *beep*.

Thanks.

I think he started off on the right foot, actually. When I have problems with STDs, or my friend's STDs, the first place I run to is Dave's STD Cafe. I mean, its obvious, right?

Interesting that it was deleted.

I wonder if the OP deleted it because of the responses, lack of responses, or that the STD Guy seen it (?).

Well, one can only hope I instigated a beatdown of an Internet stranger by preserving his words for posterity. That's the kinda thing that makes life worth living!

Well he took half my advice. Here's hoping the other advice is carried out without starting an epidemic.
