Rudy Giuliani is dropping out.

Now there are four left, although Huckabee should be dropping out but will likely hang on for Super Tuesday and drop out a day or two after.

Which begs the question....

When will Ron Paul drop out?

Giuliani had no campaign beyond Florida. He had no money left, his campaign is in debt. He spent all his money in the early contests, despite his assertion that he didn't campaign in the earlier states, and came in lower than Ron Paul in total votes received and in delegates. Giuliani got 80 to 100 times as much media coverage (measuered in minutes of coverage) and is finished.

Ron Paul is running a nationwide campaign. He is raising funds and is orgainizing precinct by precinct. He has more precinct captains than Giuliani had total supporters. His campaign is picking up speed and his 2nd place finishes in Nevada and Louisiana can still become first place when the final delegate selection is finished. He can still win delegates in Florida as the primary there was the beginning and not the end of the process. Ron Paul will be in the final two. He will either campaign all the way to the convention or all the way to election day. As the others drop out, he will finally have a chance to be covered by the media.

but the media refuses to acknowledge him. even when he shows well, there is no coverage. the examples are manifold. that said, the longer he sticks around the more his message wil get out.

a) that's not true

b) insofar as he's not winning any states, he's not getting as much coverage

Huckabee has faltered and RP was never even in the race. It's down to two: McCain and Romney. It should be decided on Tuesday.

Along with being shut out by big media, one thing the RP campaign has never done is sucked off the citizenry's tax teat.

Do you think when it is down to just Dr. Paul and one or two others, they'll still exclude him from debates and coverage?

I think RP ought to be shown as much on TV as possible and he also ought to be asked the tough questions on subjects like the war on terror and alternative energy.

Did anyone else feel like I did, in that he probably has a woman (or possibly two) on the side down in Florida. He was just 'hanging out' down there partly vacationing, often attending fundraising events for $, and probably seeing a woman or two and calling his wife from time to time 'yes honey, the campaign is doing real well'.
