Hey guys,
Do any of you know of a professional voice coach in Seoul? I'm reckoning that Itaewon has one, but not sure of where.
Any of you singers (amateur, pro, etc...), or use your voice professionally, is there someone you use as a coach? Where could I find a coach?
Thank you in advance! =)
What is this for? I don't like how my voice sounds and I want to improve it. I think a professional is just the ticket

Are you looking for a speech pathologist or some kind of singing teacher? |

Not quite sure.
What exactly is a speech pathologist? Is there one in Seoul?
For sure a singing teacher would be helpful as well.
Thanks Cbclark4

*Bump*
Hey guys, it's me again
I was wondering if anyone of you who are singers, or in a profession where you need to use your voice, knew of a voice coach in Seoul.
Perhaps you know of someone who professionally helps you develop a better voice geared towards what you want to do.
Like me, I have a soft voice and want to make it stronger for my classes. Any leads?
Any clues would be great.
Thanks in advance!

A guy named X (PMed) was my vocal coach a while back. He taught me many interesting things. Check and see if he is still around.
Also, put a search in at Youtube, etc. Lots of stuff on the net.
Best of luck to you. |

If possible, you should check out this book - Kristin Linklater's "Freeing the Natural Voice"
http://www.amazon.com/Freeing-Natural-Voice-Kristin-Linklater/dp/0896760715
While I am no professional "voice coach" per se, I have a fairly strong background in theatre and music and I run drama workshops here in Seoul. I use many ideas/ techniques from this book in every lesson and have done for over 10 years now. As an undergrad, it was my bible. |

There is one on Yongsan base...Not sure about the number but there is one there you can contact...If you go to the Seoul Improv shows you will want to ask someone called AJ about it |
