When I got here, I never ever thought I would ever see the kids as more than a load of little cardboard cutouts, all the same with no personality.

However as time has gone on, to my horror I have got quite fond of the little sods.

I went to emart last weekend and bought some bumper size bags of mini snickers, twixes and bounty bars - for good work, homework or just to put a smile on their face.

Anyway, I left the bag under my table and the Korean grammar teacher came into my classroom and took over a class with B3 - 7 spoilt little boys who are a pain in the arse to teach and are generally naughty. In the class are two fat little boys who are always scamming for chocolate. I tell them no that they can only have it in class.

So when the lesson ended with the Korean grammar teacher, they all shot off like a light and I went to inspetct my bag of sweets and all there was left was 12 little twix bars! Thats from half a big emart bag full of sweets, they took all the snicker bars and bounty bars...

Anyway - Korean kids love snitching/grassing each other up so it is not going to be too difficult to get the truth out of them tomorrow when I put the whole blame on the fattest boy (an imbecile called 'Herry') but shall I tell the director?

I think it would be a good idea to teach them a lesson about honesty, sure I did it at their age but I would cop a good hiding off my old lady...
Or is it enough just to make the fat little bitches sweat?

Any other advice or info would be greatly appreciated! Cheers!

That actually doesn't happen here until high school.

I suggest you go out and buy the cheapest chocolate and lots of it and make the little pukes eat it until it comes out their fat orifices. I hate theft.

is it wrong to leave poison in chocolate wrappers if you have no intention of giving it to anyone???? Very Happy

seriously though, poison works. If you don't wish to go that far, cheap chocolate smeared with fecal matter also does the trick and if they aren't FREAKIN' stupid, they won't have swallowed too much before they realize what happened....

You could do any combination of the following:

1. Cut the chocolate for their class, and only their class, permanently.
2. Tell your director that they stole from you.
3. Threaten to tell their parents unless they pay you back/Tell their parents so that they pay you back. (the principle isn't the money)
4. Prepare some fantastic treat for every class but theirs, making sure to explain to them why they're being excluded.
5. Have them write an essay on why they did it.
6. Take them on a field trip with you to e-mart to re-supply, showing them the cost and effort.
7. Replace their "reward" candy with ginsing candy for a month.
8. Have them tell the director themselves.

...off the top of my head.
You might be tempted not to take it seriously because it's "small shlt" as they say. I would say that blatant disrespect for the property of others as well as stealing shouldn't be ignored.

Duly noted.

I should also have mentioned that it would be a good idea not to unnecessarily tempt the kids. They're definitely at fault here, and should learn that what they did was not acceptable, but leaving something so desirable in an easily accessible place surrounded by children, and expecting it not to disappear is a little short sighted.

Laxative chocolates work wonders.

When I was in high school someone started stealing my chocolate cake from my bag every second or third day when I brought some. So I made a piece and put laxatice chocolate as the icing on it.

I found out that day who had been stealing my cake as they had to go home early cause they s.h.i.t themselves in class. He didn't come back to school for two days. I guess I used to much laxative......two whole packs Very Happy .

He never stole my cake again.

Reminds me of the story of the woman and her coworkers who would put their lunches in the refrigerator at work and consistenly got her food stolen...she made a delicious dog food sandwich with tomato, lettuce and cheese. It never happened again!

Having them stay on their knees with their hands up (I think that's one of the traditional Koean punishments) for a class period or two or three should do the trick. And next time, come on, don't leave a bag full of candy in a room full of naughty kids!

I would notify the director but ask him/her to not interfere. If your director handles the matter, it gives your kids the impression that you're not in charge and had to snitch on them for results. Notify your director anyway though so he/she stays in the loop and the kids have an official strike on their record (you may need it later). Then cut all the classes off for a couple of weeks to a month (depending on how you feel). Have your thieving fatties write a letter to their parents and each of the deprived classes explaining what happened. This way all involved parties are aware of what went down and the classes without candy will be able to exact their own revenge (which will ultimately matter to your thieves more than anything you may do).

If that doesn't work, tell the kids to keep an eye on the class computer, then drive a car through the window and steal it when they're not paying attention.
