Ephedra works but needs to be used in appropriate doses so you don't stroke out. It raises the core body temperature. There are other thermal drugs out there but Ephedra is the best.

Clenbuterol works very well but is classified as a steroid.

T3 will help your metabolism. When I was cutting for fights I would run T3 with Ephedra. I like Clen more but there is downtime for it as your beta receptors don't take to it anymore.

Hoodia is a good appetite suppressant.

Ephedra and Clenbuterol are not legal in Korea unfortunately.

A good stack is Ephedra, T3, caffeine, hoodia, and white willow bark (aspirin).

Hoodia has been recently added to stacks but you will have to probably get that and T3 seperately.

I had a korean gym order me Animal Cuts (w/ephedra, caffeine, white willow bark) and T3.

They used a Korean site to get it. I didn't find hoodia or clen avaiable.

Has anyone used weight loss pills? Are they available in Korea? Were they effective? Were there any side effects? What brand do you recommend?

Thanks in advance.
Jameson

I use them. I have a slow metabolism, I used Thermogenics quite succesffuly with excercise and diet to loose a lot of weight.

Any more info on these? thanks.

Some one mentioned Ephedra, its a dangerous substance if you are a newbie. I tended to get the shakes badly so I ended up cutting it out.

I have used Hydroxy-Cut with a mixed bag result. Some times it felt like it worked sometimes it didn't.. I personnaly don't like it because I just got an upset stomach.

Xenadrine is good for Energy HAS a boat load of caffeine in it. It goes great with a High protein low carb diet. Helps you dig that much deeper to get that extra rep in.

Best I have found is Hot-Rox Extreme (Biotest Product) t-nation.com This I get from back home.. No matter how long I use it I always feel these suckers. This is a seriously STRONG Thermogenic. Even in summer using these things you could acctually see steam coming off me. Its strong and if you got a week stomach I don't recommand these. These things gave me great results. When I use these little babies I become a walking slug.. So much water comes out of me its not funny, As I said Thermogenic madness.

Other substances that are beneficial to weight loss. Is Caffeine (Black coffee or English Tea)

Green tea - Good green tea is the opposite of a thermogenic this will actually cool you down forcing your body to work that much harder to warm up. I usually drink green tea after my work out.

Asprin is good too it makes you sweat, thins out your blood as well thus you can get better oxygen delivery. Problem is that if you have a blood disorder or any kind of circulatory or pulmenary problems it may cause hemoraging, bleeding, and other nasties.. When I use to do a lot of weights I used asprin all the time but I suffered from bad nose bleeds. I ended up pulling the plug on it because I had an eye hemorage.

Word of caution.. When using a Thermogenic you need to have a high input of water. Minimum 3 liters of water.. If you don't you can suffer a stroke, heart attack, heat stroke and other problems like heart palpatations. These things are not childrens vitamins.

Also make sure you supplement your diet with vitamins, minerals and especially, calcium, and sodium because you will be sweating these things out.. Usually it take about a month of straight use to have any visible results. No sporadic use, you need to have a strict and regimented usage, diet and excercise level.

The only way to lose weight is to create a calorie deficit, which means you use more than you take in. That's all there is to it. There's no magic and you can't find it in a pill. Start slowly increasing the amount or intensity of your exerise and decreasing, or cleaning up, your caloric intake. It will help if you keep a log of both your exercise and diet. Two weeks should give you a good baseline. Best of luck.

This is really good advice. If you want to naturally curb your appetite, you could try hoodia, which is a natural appetite suppressant (or at least the plant is natural, who knows about the pills) or you can simply eat 6 walnuts about a half hour before a meal. Nuts tell your brain that your full and they are really good for you. Also, drink lots of fresh water and eat foods like pineapple which are natural diuretics. This will allow you to separate water weight loss from fat weight loss. That way you can be more sure of real progress.

Exercise, Exercise, Exercise

Loosing weight is not about pills or diets - it's about changing your whole lifestyle. It takes a long time but its worth the effort - you'll feel so much better about yourself!

Don't f*ck around with weird plans. Just eat healthy (lots of fresh vegetables, fruit, low fat meats and carbs, minimal dairy), drink lots of water, and get extended aerobic exercise - like a couple hours a day if you really want to lose weight.

But seeing as the thread is specifically about weight loss pills, I'm guessing the OP is looking at other avenues to achieve his/her goal.

Personally, I have shit metabolism, always have. What I need is the energy to start the exercise. It's easy to maintain, but it's hard to start. Sometimes you need a little help jump-starting a plan.

Also, it can get discouraging not seeing results after a month or more, so even if the results from taking pills only last while taking them, if a person sees results quickly they'll be more motivated to work harder to keep losing weight.
