I remember this story when it hit the headlines! same time as the rainy thursday murders.. they say the thursday murders were not the same guy and that case was never solved..
anyway that guy MAN he is one seriously messed up dude..
I guess he is still on death row! with the other freaks.. there was a guy about a year or so after him. who killed and chopped up that 4 year old girl , they caught him and a reporter asked him why he did it.
he replied! " just"
45 million people in korea.. there must be a lot of murders which go unreported to not cause panic..
anyone watch the news lately.. those two young girls went missing last month... last seen on cctv playing a park, and now gone..
my guess is they are murdered too..
man, so many seriously messed up humans out there.. |

In March of 2000, he was arrested for raping a 15-year old girl, and that was enough for his wife. She could overlook the thievery because it paid the bills, but this was unforgivable. She divorced him in 2002 as he served his sentence in the Jeonju Detention Center and also included that he be barred from any visitation rights to his son. By this time, Yoo had fourteen criminal convictions for a total of eleven years in prison. His crimes ranged from fraud, theft, battery and sexual assault. When he got out of prison on September 11, 2002, he visited his mother living in the old Gongdeok neighborhood in Mapo and he was looking for a place to call his own.
He had a long record of previous convictions but only served a two and a half prison sentence for raping a minor. |

| In a country where everyone is taught to look the other way, where being kind to strangers is virtually unheard of, where the role of the police is somewhat of a mystery, where critical thinking is the last thing parents want their children to learn, where abuse of all forms is considered a family issue, and where children are left unsupervised in homes, alleyways, parks, anywhere, it could be said South Korea is the perfect habitat for a serial killer to ply his trade. |

Don't you know that this type of thing only happens in Evil Western countries!
Koreans are a gentlemanly race who respect each other and abhor violence!
No doubt the killer had once attended an English hakwan where the Evil foriegnteacher had a bad influence on him.....

The number of rapes that go unreported in the UK is quite astonishing - many in the muslim community no doubt - but I can imagine that the Korean figure is even more mind blowing. The face saving games that are common place in this society are a boon for sex offenders. |

| Just reading the first page of that Crimelibrary article made me sick. Killing animals as a way to practice murder is exactly what Jeffrey Dahmer did as a boy. |
