We are leaving Korea soon. I need a custom sized box to take stuff home with us. I am transporting a computer and monitor. Both are in their original boxes, but I have to pack them together in a larger box (to avoid extra charges).
Does anyone know where you can order specific boxes in Korea. We live in Daejeon, so a location here would be beneficial.

suggestion:
Ditch the monitor...take out all the inside parts of the computer, pack them into the "factory boxes" and put that stuff on your carry on. You will save a lot of hassle. |

I wanted to send home some lanterns as Christmas gifts last year, and the only boxes that were long enough to accommodate them were too big for all of the other dimensions. I took them to the post office in the hopes that they had a better selection of boxes than the Carrefour, and sure enough, at the main post office in my Gu, there was a guy there who carved boxes to order. Cost me about 2,000 won for a smallish box. Perhaps there is a similar service at the main post office in your area? |
