Is there an English speaking EPIK coordinator in Gyoung Nam province?
If so, does anyone know the name and contact number or e-mail? |

I guess it's too much work for them to update their site information.
They're prepared to spend in excess of $4 billion on English education but unable/unwilling to update their EPIK website. |

boyne11,
No problem. You have the right idea. Something has to be discussed with native English teachers if they are going to work smoothly before, during and after the transition to the new plan for English education. More people should be speaking up about doing something along the lines of what your post implies rather than throwing around charts and articles about things that don't matter anyway. This is in addition to the large number of people who continue to banter about how terrible everything is going to be once the new order of English Education begins to take shape.
People make think the whole approach is a pie in the sky wish, but realistically, the right message to the right people will open the door for discussion between representatives of the Korean MOE/Govt agencies and the native English professionals. Time to stop complaining and start being constructive. I applaud your interest and efforts to work in the right direction. BTW, no offense leveled at anyone, just stating the facts. |

I will finish my public school contract at the end of this month. The years been very rocky but fun because I had to fight for every little single thing with my anal co-teacher. I say fun because I would always end up at the winning end of the bitch fest. Anyway, I was still asked to renew my contract probably because Im good with students. Knowing that I would have to work with same anal co-teacher again, I turned the offer down.
What I want to do is make a transfer to another school because Ive made lots of friends here and like living in the area where I live now.
To make a transfer, should I contact the recruiter or the EPIK supervisor in the area?
What would be the best way to make a transfer? |

Try and contact the EPIK supervisor in the area or someone connected with that agency. They will at least be able to put you in touch with a person who works in the hiring. I wish you well in your new job, and thanks again for your proactive approach to making the effort to ask good questions. |

directly with the EPIK website as opposed to the co - ordinators
for some information
but sorry ! not sure if that may directly help your question

You should phone the Gyeongsangnam-do Office of Education office directly to get the names of the agents they use. |
