And it was BRILLIANT!

For 8000 Won I got a damn good haircut, a head massage and a shampoo!

I look more now like a young Antonio Banderas than Leo Sayer - My hair was getting ridiculous! Laughing

I might get a nice K girl with my new look - I don't think '1970s Argentine footballer afro style' is a big drawcard here.

All those threads I read about crap Korean hairdressers - balderdash I say! Very Happy

I agree, even where nobody spoke English, I had a better haircut than back home.

Thats a good point.... no-one back home (in the UK) can cut hair and you pay a small fortune - which I'm sure is the same for all the countries we hence came from.

Here, my hair was expertly cut - I showed the nice lady a photo of what I wanted and it was done with the minimum of fuss.

The best haircut I have ever had!

I was expecting a joke or a punchline with some girl wanting to cut your pubic hair.

However, I understand the OP as in the UK we do pay a lot for haircut and don't even get it washed or dried. Go to a hairdressers/barbers in the UK and forget service. They want you in and out in a minute.

Yet I was expecting a joke about Korean Barbers.

my story was far from yours. I came in, gave the person a decent basic sketch of what I wanted, lengths, etc. So simple that anyone would be able to figure it out... top part, cut 2cm off, bottom, shave it low... various drawings, using very little Korean... damn it was simply horrible. I wanted to keep fairly longer hair, but give me some breathing space below... apparently they forgot about the pictures, drawings everything and thought "american GI" ... lame... to their credit, they didn't make the match top the bottom... they got that much right Rolling Eyes

To be fair Ryouga, my haircut is 'GIesque' at this moment in time but it is very well done and it is probably the best hair cut I have ever had, mind you my style of hair only suits one kind of style (short).

What kind of haircut were you after just out of interest?

Laughing Guilty as charged I'm afraid.

And for the record...Antonio is DEFINITELY a better look than Leo.

Thank you! Laughing

I wouldn't mind pulling off a Leonardo diCaprio with my hair than a Leo Sayer but you can only do so much with what your DNA allows you!

Still better than being bald/ginger/both! Shocked
