I bought an xbox off of here last week, but I have only turned it on a couple of times. So, I am looking to sell it for what I paid for it - 140,000 won.
It comes with a nice carrying case, a bunch of games on disk, and some on the hard drive as well. I am sorry I can't tell you much about the mod, but it copies games from disks to the hard drive, and you can link your xbox via ftp to your computer as well. That's about as into it as I got.
The machine seems to run great, but, I just don't use it. If you have a DS lite and wanted to swap, I would be interested in that as well.
The HD has several partitions, but the main drive has about 106GB where you copy the games to... the other partitions are for mods etc, but total about 120GB. |

| The guy was asking 250k for both the PS2 and the xbox and you paid 140K for the xbox alone? You overpay for it and then you don't use it and sell it a few days later? Sounds a little shady to me. |

| overpay? before you make claims like that, just take another look at the ad. He said 140 was his firm price for the xbox. And, what, if I may ask, sounds shady? Since we are in an open forum, please feel free to clarify. |

| Just read my original post. You bought it recently and now you're suddenly selling. Gives me the impression that there is something wrong with it. Why would you dish out a bunch of cash for an antiquated system, play it two times, and then sell it a few days later. Doesn't add up IMO. |

| point taken, just simply untrue. Take my word for it or not, but I have used it and it works fine, I just don't find myself playing it as much as I had anticipated. Are you interested in buying? |

I'm the guy he bought it from.
I don't know why he wants to sell it, but there's nothing wrong with the system, I tested it with DVDs and games before I sold it and it works just fine. Believe me, if there were something wrong with it, he would have told me. Check out his thread where someone sold him a defective laptop!
As far as overpaying, yes it is a last-generation system, but it's hardly an NES. There is a tremendous amount of play value in it, it's got a 120G hard drive, several dozen games, and functionality as a media center. I sold it not because there was something wrong with it, but because I have a 360 and the XBOX was just taking up space, when it could be used by someone who would play it.
People on here are paying 175k for a PS2, for Ghod's sake. |
