The Decline and Fall of America
"The shocking new full length film that will change the way you look at our once great country and what America has become today. After the pre-release viewing of the movie on 01/21/08, many people compared it to Aaron Russo's "Freedom To Fascism". B.A. Brooks is currently writing his new book "Total Disclosure" which will compliment this movie. The book is to be released sometime in 2008."

Arjunas' wishful thinking
In the 1980's Paul Kenedy predicted the decline then he changed prediction.
When he did his words were "boy are we powerful" |

Well, I'm 20 min in.
It isn't a movie. It is a collection of jacked spots from Lou Dobbs and other populists and other 'borrowed' clips about American history. At 20:00 a white dude with camouflage paint on his face (creepy) comes on and gives a web-cam rant about this and that.
I think it is the ramblings of a Michigan-style paramilitary outfit of scared whitefolk.
Somebody tell me. Why should I care about the NAFTA highway? |

At minute 31 a dude is actually wearing a tinfoil hat!! Ha! I've never seen that before. He may be using it sarcastically, but I'm not sure. Very weird. |

Well then I salute you. I only made it to the nutjob in camo before I had to call it quits. |

Here's a pic of him:
...the movie is actually quite creepy. It is a clear call to violence. |

Also included are videos of David Koresh justifying shooting people.
Well, enough of this. Bill Maher finished downloading. |

Did you watch it? At one point a dude in a tinfoil hat says the government needs to be "dealt with" and then it cuts to a video of Koresh talking about shooting cops. |

If you actually watched the movie, I would hope that you could come away from it with something constructive.
My favorite guy in the movie is Rep. Tim Ryan from Akron, OH. This guy should be a senator.
One of the saddest parts of the film is when Hillary is confronted by that old guy who was running for the dems, can't remember his name, about supporting the first move towards aggession with Iran. She gives that creepy laugh that I heard her do once when Tim Russert asked her why she wouldn't run for president in 2004, when there was such a large number of Americans calling for a sea change in government. She laughs that way when she is stumped. Watch for it. The creepy laugh.
Clearly America has quickly evolved in a few short years since 9/11 into a burgeoning fascist state. They stole the playbook from the Nazis.
What will Americans do when the country is bankrupt, and the elites have all the money? Or does anyone actually believe American hegemony is going to work?
In the words of the Talking Heads, "(America's) on a road to nowhere".
For all you Americans on the board who will take this as a conspiracy post, or who still support Bush, how does this all play out as not a fascist coup? Do you really believe America is in "a war on terror"? My god, they can't even name an enemy? I love Jesse Ventura saying how the terrorists won't send a memo 3 or 4 days before they attack. Yet, the govt couldn't protect the people of New Orleans with that kind of warning, so how are they going to protect you?
watch the movie, sometimes the truth isn't found in a pretty package. |

Mike Gravel.
I loved hearing (D) Tim Ryan speak as well. Articulate and strongly well-said.
I watched the entire 'movie' which isn't really a movie. It's basically a large collection of youtube clips with a few annoying commentators (the green/brown faced guy and the guy with tin foil on his head) which somewhat discredit all the really good stuff in there.
To those who say it's a pro-Ron Paul one, his name isn't mentioned one time. The constitution is mentioned many times and a reference to protecting yourself from the government with the right to have guns is as well.
A few conspiracy theory stuff was thrown in - the North American Currency rumor and the Bush is going to have a national emergency which makes him become like a 'King' who will never go away. Those discredit the otherwise good stuff in there.
The good stuff, which most of us have probably seen or known about. HALIBURTON and the DONALD TRUMP sections. Perfectly well-said. Plus the Tim Ryan parts. |

Oh yes. Clearly this is the case.
Anyone who can describe America as "fascist" with a straight face clearly is not familiar with actual fascism and clearly is not worth listening to. |
