I need to replace my ARC card, and I want to know where I need to go, or if I can go to any office. I currently live in Ilsan-dong-gu. If anyone knows where I can go and how I can get there, I'd appreciate it. I am not sure if you must go to a particular branch...

Thanks..

Ilsandong-gu, Goyang-si, is under the jurisdiction of the Uijeongbu Immigration Office. That's where you'll have to go.

If it was stolen or lost you need to make a police report first...

You take this police report with you to immigration with your passport and some money.

No, as far as I know you just have to pay 10,000 won. I don't have time to go to the police station. I am just going to immigration.

maybe it changed.

When I went 3 years ago to get a new one I had to go to the police station first. that is what immigration told me to do....

A bit off topic, but I'm back in Canada and I still have mine. I suppose someone forgot to ask me to hand it over when I left...

I had no trouble getting my card. It just took me a long time to get to the office by subway from Ilsan. I was lucky that they close at 6, and I was able to obtain my replacement card on the spot. I thanked the person who helped me for his time...
