Paid about 280 for this package about a month ago.. just looking to upgrade to something a little better. This one takes great shots mind you, and really goooood video too. You won't be disappointed. With the 10X optical zoom, I was able to do just as well in optial range as my friends Digital SLR with a telephoto lens on it. My digital zoom went even further.
Fuji S700 High Optical Zoom Digital Camera with original box and receipt
Nice compact Canon carry bag ( I know, not canon! but ah well)
UV filter lens attachment
2GB high speed SD card.
here's a link:

It's in great shape, and the price is firm. I won't be able to provide you with batteries, as my replacement cam will also need rechargeable AA's. This one takes 4, but is a bonus, because it lasts for a long time on a set of batteries.

The link you provided prices these cameras at $170 NEW (+ ~$10 for a 2GB SD).
Why are you asking $200 used? |

I welcome you in Korea to order it for that price. I am ok with being "spliffed" in the ad, but I mean, grab a price from Danawa or something, then I will be happy to lower it. You forgot to throw in the UV lens filter I paid 14 bucks for, and the 12 dollar bag. I really need to know where to get 2GB SD cards for 10 bucks too, so if you could provide me with that info, it would be a great help. I do like that you are trying to defend the honor of the open market, but please, if you are going to speak up, make it relevant. I know that you are taking the price off of the link I provided, but I provided it for a review. If someone wants to get it here from an electronics warehouse for cheaper, and can, they will do so. I was honest about my prices that I paid, and it wasnt like it was eons ago, it was about a month ago.
cheers. |

Anyone crazy enough to pay over double the current U.S. retail price for the same camera in Korea has got to be loony.
True enough, it seems to sell for an exorbitant price in Korea (110% tariff???).
I like the camera, but I can't bring myself to dish out more than the current U.S. new retail value for a used camera. There are comparable brands out there without the ridiculous tariff.
Seems like a good enough camera, though. |

I've been looking for a camera like this, so I know all the prices. You can get this camera for a bit under $200 new in the US and I think roughly the same price in Korea. The "package" is probably worth 200 new but used I wouldn't expect to get over 170 for it.
I bet it would sell nice and quick at 150. At any rate, I just got myself the s8000fd, so I won't be making any more offers on cameras for a good while. |

I see this pattern over and over again and it makes me laugh. LOL.
1 - Somebody puts up a used item for sale. Price is high and unreasonable.
2 - Spliffed by spliff or someone else.
3 - Justification of the high price from the OP.
4 - Spliffed again with links attached.
5 - Price is reduced. Usually the best offer takes it.
6 - Someone finally takes the item at a good price.
