I've been watching CNN USA, FOX NEWS, and some other channel, think it was NBC Today show.

To Americans: do you at all recognize the behaviors exhibited by these anchors/hosts on these shows? My god, they just interrupt each other constantly, natter on without shutting up from commercial break to commercial break, and wear the biggest grins, or seemingly fake confident/arrogant grins, smirks.

BTW, Fox is the worst. but they are all shit.

So what are they supposed to do when the camera is pointed at them? Just sit there and say nothing?

No, we are all not like the talking heads on US news, especially US political news. We are all like Jack Bauer, however, so don't f--- with us.

Don't under estimate the Hair Dos on US 'news' programs. After all without their contribution to democratic dialogue the huge majority of American's wouldn't have believed Saddam was behind the 9 11 attack.

So you see the Hair Dos play an indispensable role in American democracy.

Show some respect.

you're the sucker for watching it. Laughing

mainstream american tv is at an all time low in america.

its to the point when a normal person who doesn't wh.ore themselves to be on tv "accidentally" comes on tv, it startles everyone. it fascinates you.

the news no more represents everyday america any more than the hollywood movies represent "real"american life.

huge disconnect. i have watched american news in years. it is all propaganda (and poorly done at that).

reminds me of seeing that Carl Bernstein just joined the CNN election "team". Ben Bradlee is turning over in his grave. So is Bob Woodward, and he's not even dead yet.

Do Koreans talk like Korean TV new reporters?

You know, like the ones that sound like they're on some kind of mega caffeine high?

I've noticed that as well. A lot of extremely arrogant self-righteous 'entertainers' on FOX in particular, coupled with a lot of gorgeous large-breasted women. Its more reminiscient of frat parties and 80s babe movies with obnoxious arrogant opinionated guys thrown in there.

Things are getting weird when the Hollywood Celebrities give more educated thoughtful opinions than mainstream news commentators these days.

Sometimes I wish they would all just go away. Then I sit back and amuse myself thinking about how things will be when the superviruses finally spead and kill the unworthy. Namely those of us who aren't rich media stars!
