Just my luck to turn up at Polly's years ago when they were having a Star Trek convention! "Mongolian sounds like Klingon"

One thing I don't like in all women - skinny.

I like the chubby, booty-luscious girls. Do western men like high cheek bones? That seems to be an asian trait. Neutral

Model-esque features, in my opinion.

Koreans (and Mongolians) have very high cheek bones.

There was a Korean-American on Tyra Bank's America's Next Top Model. They kept remarking on her cheekbones. I kept thinking they should look for more Koreans in particular if they like that.

Chinese usually have much weaker cheekbones and facial features. Did you notice that in China when you were there? (Then again, Manchurian China would be similar to Mongolia/Korea in that facial feature).

Heck, all I want is to ride a Mongolian pony... maybe with an Aussie girl by my side.

So true! That's why Beijing and Japan are so popular for we teachers.

I'm an American and when I went to the US for Christmas I was also surprised how ugly most Americans are. I felt like I had parachuted into Fuglyville.

Actually, I was disappointed in the TV stars when I first moved here. I didn't think they were so beautiful at all. I found the Korean-Americans I knew very attractive, but not the "elite beauties" on TV in Korea. I found the everyday Korean woman, who didn't have a ton of plastic surgery to look Western, much more beautiful. I found it difficult to understand why some women on TV were "chosen" to be on TV in the first place.

I was more attracted to unaltered eyes. I liked darker skin (many Korean shun darker skin, thinking it looks "country"). The style of Korean face I found beautiful had nothing to do with small head size, or a small face. I didn't think someone with the biggest eyes in the world was necessary pretty, either.

Korean men often comment that they often see western guys with unattractive women. It's all about perceived beauty. Years ago, I used to date a woman who was short, had a big head, almost no nose bridge, short legs, and small eyes. At the time, I was crazy about her. Foreigners thought she was really, really sexy -- and she was. Her personality was really fun. She was so outgoing, and a breath of fresh air from the typical boring, quiet, unimaginative types that are easy to come across here.

Korean guys thought she was unattractive, though.

More or less. But as as also noted, we western males tend to find a larger % of Korean women more attractive. More time you spend in Korea, lower that percentage goes. I do sometimes like to play a game on the subway called "goddess in North America, average in Korea". I try to find a Korea woman that's probably nothing special in terms of looks in Korea but would have every Unix developer I know ready to buy her a car after the first date.

Same here, across the board.

Miss Korea in Universe pageants, never looks that attractive. I don't find that many TV stars that attractive here either.

Walking down the streets however, it's completely different.

Yeah. In fact guys who like the petite look in girls should move entirely to China. The girls there are pretty 'cute' and small...even the ones over 40 !

I was in India and I noticed high cheekbones big-time in the very exotic looking Tibetans there. In fact, I still talk to one cutie that I went out with and you can have a close shave with her cheekbones !! But cheekbones aren't my fetish Smile

It's pretty well known now that many western guys would go crazy over even the bugliest (ugly) asian girl that showed the least bit of attention. How much more the guys who never go out !

On youtube, there is a beauty pageant 2007 in Mongolia. A little too skinny for my tastes though.
