Couldn't fit all the title in!
http://www.tesco-graduates.com/home/programmes/store
The old man rang me the other day to tell me about an advert he saw in a national newspaper of dubious standing (The daily nazi! ) about Tesco advertising for graduate careers. 'They want a first class degree to sell spuds! Whats the world coming to?' He said... quite right too dad!
I know it is fashionable to call EFL teachers losers and bums, but do you not think anyone who graduates from a university with a first class honours degree and applies to Tesco is not only a bum and a loser but is also sorely lacking in testicular fortitude?
How can anyone work for 4 years and get a damn good degree only to waste it on the corporate grind that is any graduate career structure?
NB: Yes, they want a minimmum of a 2.1 but because lots of competiton for the job, you can bet your life it is only first class graduates that get accepted! |

It is an entry level scheme to eventually become one, most Tesco store managers seem to be middle age - or thats my recollection every time I have had to bring back their crappy, will not work, made in China 'white goods' without a receipt! |

tesco is one of the biggest n most profitable comps in uk, BILLION POUND PROFITS.
owns thousands of acres of prime land and takes the highest percentage of citizens pay packet each week.
so ,my point is,why not?
some kinda snobbery?
its gotta be oil or gold, not spuds...? |
