I looked at another thread about this but couldn't get a definitive answer to my question: Will my Irish PS2 work with my Korean TV. I know my PS2 is Pal and the TV is NTSC but someone suggested that if I have the right inputs or something, that it'll work. Truth or fiction??

Your tv looks new enough to have component RGB inputs.
Check out the back.
If you see inputs like the first ones on this http://www.michaeldvd.com.au/Articles/VideoConnectors/VideoConnectors.asp page, you are in luck.
The ones on that page say "component video out"> Yours just need to look like that. If you have them, then get the component PS2 cables and you are set.
Also, a used Ps2 is cheap here anyway, and moded would play all your games, even original PAL versions.
good luck |
