As you get older you realize the distinctions between idealogies of East and West, making you wonder about acquiring a wife or husband here. You no longer see through the eyes of physical-personality characteristics, but distinguish your own values and beliefs. Some may be religious, others food and etiquette, and others, social norms. What's more, there's always the idea that you're going to have to forego some of these and your own national identity in order to please your mate, which is going to be a lifetime battle.

In my opinion, I'd rather choose bachelorhood than marry here.

Take it or leave it, although I hope the newlyweds have a great honeymoon.

I think the hardest thing for her, if she goes to the West, will be family seperation. I think my wife was a little unsettled by it, even though she is independent and never really spoke of it. If she has a K Air plane ticket once a year, I reckon she'll be purring.

In marriage ideologies become blurred and mixed. Social norms are learned and unlearned. They are no problem.
