I'm looking to buy quinoa, fish oil capsules, omega-3 eggs, and containers of egg whites.

I've never seen any of these things before, but I've never been to Costco. Doea anyone know if I can purchase these things at any foreign market, Costco, or elsewhere? Thanks!

Yes, yes, and yes. All three easy to find online or at major dept stores (EMart for example).

Real hard to get fresh herbs. Hyundai dept. stores (Kangnam branches, at least) sporadically carry ludicrously overpriced thyme, oregano, and basil.

Do they sell wine in Korea, like the big Australian or American brands? Not interested in rice wine or any of that crap, just a good bottle of white or rose.

Yellow tail can be bought at home-plus for about $17 a bottle. Its $12 in the states. Not sure about the other aussie wines. They have EVIL Italian wines for sale.

Wine is enjoying a huge boom in Korea. Every decent grocery store in Seoul has a section, and even corner quicky-marts have a few bottles. It's all overpriced, though.

In the last year or so, decent American wines have been showing up at semi-decent prices. The usual suspects like Gallo and the occasional Mondavi can be found but prepare to pay absurdly inflated prices for oenological Kool-Aid. You won't find much from the US, though, and from Canada, nada. (I like BC Pinots.) There are some good Aussie and Kiwi wines here, though, and lately I've enjoyed several from South Africa, Chile, and Argentina. The selection here is still not wonderful compared to what you'd find in neighboring countries but it's a lot better than it was as recently as 2 years ago.

I'm pretty sure I've seen quinoa at the Hannam Market.
