i'm getting 2 weeks too (14 working days). public school typically gives 10-14 working days vacation per year in the contract. however some people have said that their school gives them extra time. BUT do not expect this, it'll depend entirely upon your principal/VP |

That's only typical for Gyeonggido, the armpit of public school jobs. I used to do it. |

I get 3 months in total. 2 months winter vacation and 1 in the summer. That's with EPIK. I'm out in the sticks so there aren't camps planned the whole time and my cities Office of Education is very relaxed about this. I landed on my feet because my principal doesn't worry about it, so I get paid for it all as well.
Bad point it's a bit long, I get bored easily. First day back and I taught two lessons today and loved it. Good to be back, for this week and then it's another two weeks off before the new term. |

Yep, everything beats a GEPIK contract. |

When it says 10-14 days vacation, does this mean working days? Most of the contracts i've seen say 10 days, would that be 2 weeks (10 working days)? |

I have 2 weeks holiday. One week in the summer and one week at Christmas. It's going to be a long first year! At least there are a decent amount of national holidays as well, but oh what I wouldn't do for a nice month-long holiday, preferably on a beach! |
