**SOLD**
The bike is beautiful. Before I bought her in 2006, I searched everywhere and finally found her. She's taken me over the mountains to Seocho twice and both rides were great. This bike, while looking like a sportbike, can also be used to take longer trips out of the city. It has no plates, but I have all registration papers and plates can easily be acquired.
Here are some pics:

Are you sure that is a 250cc? Is it registered? I don't see a license plate. |

Definitely a 250cc. True, it has no license plate but I've been riding her since June 2006 in Seoul/Gyeonggi Province and over to Gangwon Province with no problems from police. In fact, I've been pulled over twice and both times the cops have simply told me to register it but let me go with no problems.
I have the original title from the bike shop in chungmuro i bought her from as well if the new buyer were to want to license and register after purchasing. |

Are you *absolutely* sure it's a 250? They're really hard to tell apart. The 250cc, however, *never* came in that blue color that you have there -- which was only reserved for the 125cc.
The 250CC came in red, black, and yellow from the factory.
So, either someone liked the blue so much they replaced all the colored parts on the 250 with the parts found on a 125 (not impossible - maybe to prevent theft?), someone crashed and replaced the parts, or it really is a 125cc.
btw not even bothering to register the bike is really lame.
Bike looks clean with the exception of the chain, which looks a little rusty. Do you ever oil it? It should be done every 500kms or so. |

Yes, I'm sure that the bike is a 250. I have the original licensing which contains the VIN (ID #) and motorcycle class. I also used to ride little Honda 110cc bikes when I was younger and owned a 150cc bike in Taiwan and so I know the difference in power. My mechanic also has verified this while doing my routine oil changes (and chain lubricating).
The bike is blue. In other pictures that I've found online, I see examples of the blue 250cc:

I agree, not a good idea to ride a larger bike without it being licenced/insured.
You can tell the 250's from the 125's by the inverted forks (which the 125 doesn't have). Also the engine size is marked near the top of the engines.. |

Seoul 101-
Thank you for the information about the 250 having inverted forks and the 125 not.
As can be seen in my photos in original post above, my bike has the inverted forks, and is a 250, while this photo shows a 125 with standard forks.

Well, finally your price is down to what is reasonable. Good luck with the sale, and for the record, I have an '03 that is a 250cc and is the same colour. I got rid of those nasty Shinkos and replaced them with some Michelin Pilot Speeds, what a difference! |
