Choose two random & unrelated topics, people, events, locations, objects, etc. Start with one, and using Wikipedia hyperlinks only, try to navigate to the other.

Ex: Kimchi -> Mt. Everest:

kimchi -> ginger
ginger -> India
India -> Himalayas
Himalayas -> Mt. Everest.

4 degrees of separation.

First person to find a "path" gets to choose the next target. Shortest path wins.

Mt. Everest -> Shakespeare

I was introduced to a similar game, played this way:

Start here:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Random

Try to get to something dirty as fast as possible.

eg)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MDL_Chime
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Internet_Explorer
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spyware
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pornography

Kimchi > ' Health' (magazine) > Magazine > Health and Fitness Magazines > 'Muscle and Fitness' > list of professional male bodybuilders > Louie!
I suck at this game. I bet somebody can do it in less than 7 degrees of separation.

I think it should not count, as it could be considerably easier. But it is a good way to get two separate competitions out of one. I had a good Lou Ferrigno-> kimchi path that I constructed by going backwards, then I realised that wasn't fair.
