I've been to Hongdae many times, but haven't found that many good restaurants. Does anyone have any suggestions (a place that's not too expensive and can fit a lot of people)? |

I have a restaurant that fits one of your criterion. There's a 1,000 won-a-plate sushi joint on the second floor of a building about halfway between 7-11 and the park. It's only open till 10pm, and there is usually a good 25 minute wait, but man it's good when you have a craving. Getting more than 5-6 people in with you would be a challenge, however. |

Try the Carne Station close to the area. I attended a party there not too long ago that had over thirty people, just be sure to make reservations. |

Carne Station, a restaraunt with all you can eat BBQ and all you can drink for 23,000 won.

Yeah, I Googled it and finally found more info on it.
I'd heard it mentioned before but had no details on it.
Sounds like quite the feed and piss up. |

Eat Korean or you'll get ripped off.
Theres Outback, Tony Romas, Vips, some salad place etc. if you want Western.

There are some great Korean restaurants in the Hong.
Dos Tacos isn't bad but it's damn expensive.
Carne Station has mediocre food but there is a ton of it + alcohol.
I personally usually eat at one of the great Korean restaurants when i go out in Hong. |

There is a great Korean restaurant in the Hong where you can eat pig cheek. It is absolutely divine and is relatively cheap. It's about 50 metres from exit 5. Can't remember the name from the top of my head, someone else may be able to help you. Seen a fair few foriegners in there.
But I agree that there are tonnes of great restaurants in the Hong. |
