Cheaters was a pretty popular American import and it wasn't long before Korean TV came out with their own version, Scandal. While I doubt Cheaters is the paragon of reality, the camera work in Scandal is a little too good, right place at the right time kinda thing. To wit, everything looks staged. Opinions? |

What happened to the American version of Cheaters? Up until a couple of weeks ago it was on every night at 10:30 on Channel 33, I think it is called Channel Q. |

The Scandals show is 100% fake. There was some backlash about it a while ago. |

Why do I have to keep repeating this? Scandal is 100% staged, and there is a disclaimer broadcast in Korean along with the show, confessing that it is entirely fictional with actors and scripted scenarios.
Cheaters at least I believe is mostly genuine, if a little showy at times. |

I remember the host of Cheaters got stabbed on a boat, now that was like, whoa! |

Scandal is fake.
There are serious laws in Korea about hiring PI's, etc., to follow your spouse or someone else. |

It seemed pretty obvious to me that it was fake. The guy was a supermarket bagboy (if I remember correctly). How could he afford a boat like that?
On top of that, in one episode you can clearly see two guys holding cue cards (I guess the editor was working on a tight deadline). |
