what really, and i do mean really, annoy and p+ss+s me off is when you wat galbi and it just getting to the cooked stage, and the ajumma wanders over and chucks more raw meat onto the grill, onto the cooked food. do these people know nothing about basic food hygiene? i guess not!  |

They *don't give you kimchi?!! 
Just yell 'yogiyo!' till they come over then say 'kimchi chuseyo!'. That should do it.

Yeah now I'm back home I miss it that waiters come running when you yell and I also miss that they keep restaurants *clean*!! Restaurants and cafes here, and I'm thinking particularly of McDonalds and Starbucks, are pigsties. Perhaps they think if you're eating junk food you must be a pig who doesn't mind dirt or else standards are just lower...

my friend (who is korean-american) said that she was in a place like that in the states and they brought out meat with a lotta fat. her dad asked for one with less fat and they were like "that's the best part!"
so i guess that's probably what the lady was thinking lol~ |
The fat *is* the best part! Fat adds flavour! 
Not so long ago fat was regarded as a treat in the west too. Ok maybe 'long ago' as in over 50 years ago...

Yeah thats always been one of my pet peeves as well.. I never understand that one either.
The other one is how difficult it can be to get your rice while you are eating your galbi. Sometimes they bring it out on a timely manner.. but occassionally no matter how many times you remind them.. they sometimes assume or think you want it at the end or something.. can't figure that out.. but occassionaly I've had them strike it off my bill because they'd never given rice to me at all.. or much too late into the meal. |

I've heard that's exactly what they're thinking. Most Koreans like to eat rice or naegmyeon after they finish eating their kalbi. Try saying this:
��� ���� ���ÿ� ������ �� �ּ���. - Please bring the rice and kalbi at the same time. |
