RAM is really THAT cheap now? Holy crap. I wouldn't be building a computer with anything less than 8GB

Yeah but the 2gb sticks go for 60,000 which is triple the cost of a single gig - anyhow yeah ram is dirt cheap now.

selling a 650 000 (retail) computer that is less than a month old for 550 000 is reasonable ...

what's not reasonable is selling a computer with that spec for 550 000

mind you, it does come with the warranty, etc. and it was bought from a respectable/established company, so hopefully you have more assurance than buying from a small unknown shop at yongsan

on second thought ... 100 000 less for a month old pc being reasonable, hmmm ... not so sure about that now ... your computer, like your car, will go down in value the moment you take it out from the shop

good luck with selling the computer (I'm being sincere)
but if there's no taker, you know why ...

and again, thanks Spliff ~ alway had appreciated your take on computer sales here on the forum

I agree w/ sketcha...it's only reasonable if the specs are good.

Buying from Yongsan sucks, buying online is always cheaper if you do research and know how to build your machine. For the every day Tom, Dick, and Harry paying more for service if something goes wrong(which it almost always does) can save you a lot of time. At yongsan you never know if they are putting crap ram or an old cpu in your machine unless you open it up and check or watch them install it. In addition, if you live far away making the hike to yongsan everytime something goes wrong can be a hassle.

I hate to spliff on your parade (actually, no I don't) but for less than 600k won (about what you are asking for your E1060 *CELERON* rig) you can get a custom built (while you wait), with warranty, at one of the larger, established shops in the Son-in-plaza:

Intel E6750 CPU, Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3R motherboard, 2 gigs of RAM, GT7600 video, Samsung 500 gig SATA2 HDD, LG DVD burner, case and 500w power.

If you paid 650k plus for that rig you got fooked - end of that discussion.

It's not a Celeron, it's a Dual Core E2160 which is an Allendale, which can easily be overclocked to 3.0ghz, check tomwshardware.com, Learn to read "Dual Core".

Point is that you can get an E6750 rig with a DVD burner, 500 gig HDD and better specs for the SAME money that you are asking for for your rig.

YOU GOT FOOKED>

Spliff doesn't know the difference between a USB flash drive and a Sony memory stick. Take his "advice" on PCs at your own risk.
