Now before anyone gets their knickers in a knot, let's just admit that anyone who takes their religion (whichever religion it is) as seriously as these posters should really just lighten up....

That lead me to this thread:

It's a post on a forum which loves the King James the 5th translation of the bible. The post is by a guy who uses bible verses to 'prove' that the KJV version of the bible is the only true version. That the original aramaic, greek etc. versions were mere translations of the King James 5th version of the bible. A few hardcore christians pull the dude up on this with lines like "Umm if God spoke to Adam in English, why didn't he teach his kids it? It would of saved us the trouble of translating it.." and so on. They get slammed because they don't back it up with bible verses. Ignoring whether the bible is true or not, the fact hat these morons think that the KJV in Elizabethan english is the 'real' version and the earlier versions aren't is awesome. |
