Hi, i got vaccinated for hep a and b before i came to korea, i think i they last for about a year. I have been here longer than that and am wondering how to get new vaccinations. Is it as simple as just booking a doctors appointment? |

Did you take the combined? Twin rix?
If so..
How long will I be protected if I get vaccinated with Twinrix?
For the hepatitis A component, antibodies against hepatitis A virus have been predicted to persist for at least 20 years (based on mathematical calculations) following the completion of the vaccination series.2
For the hepatitis B component, following vaccination with the hepatitis B vaccine, protection has been shown to last for at least 15 years.2 |

If I am not mistaken the shots are good for a year and the pills are good for 5 years, but maybe that was thyphoid. First google it and see how long it lasts, after that find a doc it can't be too much here for a few shots. |
