I was reading another thread and started writing a short list of why people shouldn't be Christian. I hope this thread doesn't turn into a flame-fest. If anyone has the desire to post support for being a Christian in this thread, please reconsider and start your own thread titled '1000 Reasons to be a Christian'. Try keep the reasons concise, to make the thread readable.

19: The gospels take 'prophecies' in the old testament out of context in a desperate attempt to show that Jesus was prophecied by Moses etc. Anyone who goes to the Old Testament and finds that passage, then reads the passage immediately before and after it, will immediately know that it was not a reference to Jesus. The gospel writers, being Jews, knew that too. They simply lied.
