| How's the Zune 80's battery life? Is it comparable to the Ipod? That is rather important to me. |
About 30 hours for MP3 playback.
My battery died at about 4h20mins using only video. |

| Yeah, but I'd like to get something that has more than 5 hours of video life. That's part of the reason that I'm sticking with the Ipod video. I'm getting more than 6 hours of video out of it. Is there anything comparable with a better screen? |

Not really, unless you scour the electronics markets here in Korea. You might be able to find something that isn't built by a major manufacturer. In other words some no-name player thats been made in China. None the less i have seen some good electronics around here.
If you want something with a bigger screen and that much battery life you are going to be looking toward a PMP, which are significantly bulkier. But on the other hand are more optomized for video playback.
the Creative vision W comes to mind, but it is just so darn bulky. |

| According to the website, the Zen Vision W (looks nice) only has 4.5 hours of life. Not long enough. |

Talk about zunes on the zune thread. |

| Won't looking at that little screen for video make your eyes go bad? Zune is a much better deal, IMHO! |

Em...isn't the screen on the Zune even smaller? (Rhetorical question, the answer is yes.)
My take, once again. If you want:
160 gigs, get the Ipod Classic 160.
80 gigs, get the Zune 80.
8-32 gigs with a variety of functions, get the touch. (I personally don't think the 32 gig Touch represents good value, but YMMV)
4+ inch screen (non-pocketable device) get a full sized PMP.
Honestly, I don't know why people feel the Touch is such a controversial device. It fills a niche market, and it fills it well. If you don't feel it's for you, there are a variety of other devices on the market out there that may meet your needs better. |

Why? IS your commute exactly 6 hours? What do you do exactly that you can't go home and recharge the thing at night? Seems odd you'd give a turd over 5 or 6 hours. |

That's not a top five list. Additionally, according to the link you provided, the Zune got an editor's rating of 8.3, while the Touch got an editor's rating of 8.7.
Also, the Touch scores 8.2 with users to 7.9 for the Zune.
And finally, the two devices serve totally different needs. |

Sure it is. It's on top. Headline: Best 5 MP3 players
Ratings? Pishposh. Those are ipod spammers. |

Stop being a douche. Those players are not ranked. Read the link.
Here, in case you missed it:
| Quote: |
| There's no one-size-fits-all MP3 player that's perfect for everybody. Some people need a small MP3 player for the gym, while others need tablet-size players with wide-screen video playback. Whatever your interests are, these five MP3 players broadly represent our current favorite portable music gadgets. |
And you've conveniently ignored the point about the Touch being rated higher by the editors. Or are you going to accuse them of being iPod spammers as well? |

Wow, you have HORRIBLE reading comprehension skills.
Maybe you should be LEARNING English not teaching it. |

| Anyway, the Touch is a good device. Once you jailbreak it, it becomes an unbelievable device. Personally, I don't feel the need to carry my whole music collection with me, so I feel the 32 gig version is overpriced. (There are also workarounds, such as streaming your iTunes library over the internet to your Touch, but you'll sacrifice some battery life doing that.) |
