so, they have a manga version of the Bible now, where Jesus is some badass fighting sin and evil.

what do you think?
i'm not sure what i think of the whole manga and graphic novel phenomenon. on the one hand, there are some good stories out there, i guess...
but on the other hand, i feel like having pictures in your stories is for six-year-olds.
unless you're reading Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. i like the pictures in that. but that's a little different.
anyway, it's pretty interesting.
the recent spike in Christianity vs. Atheism here made me think of this. i don't want this to begin another debate like that; i just would like to see opinions on the Manga Bible from each camp (and anybody else). |
