Does anyone want to keep seeing the "song titles game' thread forever and ever???
Letting that thread keep going is like letting Cliff Richard keep on singing. Everyone secretly buys his CD's, but all agree that he should dissapear.

Why would they ban it...? It doesn't take up much space in the scheme of things. Maybe the same as one stupid pic that someone posts. I've posted on it a couple of times. Maybe some people use it as a way to bump up their post counts but a lot of people do genuinely enjoy playing it so it may as well stay. Judging by the fact it ends up 100 pages long every couple of months it's popular and that's reason enough to keep it. There's plenty of other crap on here to look at if it bores you that badly.

The best idea if you don't like the song titles game is to just go in there and mess the thing up. Make it unplayable basically. Do it as another user with a proxy IP if you don't wanna get banned as yourself...ooops should I have written that....?

I think a lot of people get their panties in a knot about this crap - like that loser who complained about my wrestling gag posts (simply because they were about wrestling, yet I see them posting about room salon info - the loonies that visit this site!) .

If they're harmless then skip over them.

Even though some folks blew to shee-ot the concept fo the Song Title game (I stopped playing once that happened) it was causing no harm. Let it be.

This thread is a bigger waste of space because it serves no purpose except to complain - but hey there's no reason to yank it either.

I think its a good innovation.It doesn't really bump anyones posts up in the long run as it gets deleted every 2 months or so. I contribute occasionally and it reminds of songs I had forgotton.

Every now and again, my post count drops considerably. Now, I'm not one to try to be Queen of the Message Board, but when you know you are always on here posting and yet your post count doesn't reflect that (I'd say I post maybe 4 times or more a day) it just seems weird to me.
So, I was wondering why my posts per day count dropped...then I noticed the Song Titles game had gone down from 100 or so pages to 2. Ah. Question answered.
It's a mindless thread, and it really is of no consequence. I suspect people will get tired of it on their own, and when it drops down to page two or three, then would be the time to kill it.

Yes, but my dear Kiwi, all good things come to an end eventually. Like Denz's drinking game. That was something I thought would last longer than it did. Sooner or later, people will get sick of it.
