| I have to say I've had a change of heart about Huckabee. While I still think he's ok as a person, I couldn't support him. At this point, it's Obama or bust (bust being I won't vote). |

You're assessment pretty much sums it up.
Look for McCain to go for a Southerner as VP to shore up that base.
So that puts cbclark's choice, Sanford, in the catbird's seat.
McCain doesn't want flies buzzing around the White House, which doesn't have screen doors. That leaves out Huckabee.
As I've said countless times, Powell will not serve at that level because of his wife, for which I applaud him. He'a also had enough of the Washington gang. |

Gopher jumps to conclsuions.
My choice, if I had a choice would be Colin Powell.
Unfortunately John Mccain stopped taking my advice after 2000.
Mike Sanford is the front runner, he is the republican golden boy every bit the maverick that McCain once was.
Not my choice. |
