Okay, getting b0rked on these new visa regs, the Embassy in the UK is requesting degree certificate.

- Number of certificate for confirmation of visa issuance issued by the Ministry of Justice in Korea

- Diploma and Criminal Record Check (Copies are accepted)

- Checklist for E-2 applicant (Please find the attached file below)

A few questions

I don't really understand the requirement nor the logistics of this
since 1. your have to send your degree to Korea, 2. why submit it to the embassy if immigration uses and issues a issuance number based on it's validity 3. IFF it's sent back this would add another 1-2weeks right?

It states "copies are accepted" is a mere photocopy accepted or do i have to phone my university for an official copy?

Also do you get your police check back from immigration along with your degree?

Also do you require to get a blood test for HIV, HEP in the UK before you enter Korea or is the all done after?

Also the questionnaire form from the UK Korean embassy site asks if i was arrested in Korea... I was but by mistake... (was try to stop a bar fight...) nothing happen I was taken to the police station and the Korean guy who was fighting "acquitted" me should i answer "YES" to this question...? my current thought is I shouldn't... Really weird having a questionnaire where answering honestly would be detrimental, personally I would rather answer "YES" and explain but i doubt I'd get the chance.

This whole process is sooo bastardised from the process i went through a year ago.

Any advice regarding this would be helpful.

sorry if this post seems a bit of a clusterfuck... ;>

Thanks in advance.

Ok. fella, last see if I can help you.

Medical: in Korea, there is a list of places that you must go to be tested. If it's not on the list it will not be accepted.

Degree: photocopy for Korean embassy. I think.

Police incident: if you was never charged or cautioned by the police why bring it up. I wouldn't. You did nothing wrong which the geezer admitted to hence you were released.

Hope this helps

Ps - it's 5.30 a.m in the U.K. right now, I hope you had some good zzzzzzzzz's

Near the check outs in big TKMaxx's they sell this excellent Australian black liquoirice for about 4 quid a box. Two bags in each box. Lovely and soft it is.

Ate a whole bag in one sitting when I was back.
