It looks like I'll be missing the first few days of EPIK Orientation (there was a delay in my paperwork). What exactly will I be missing at day 1 - 3 (that's Friday to Sunday)?

Looking forward to any responses. Thanks!

Well, the pointed paper party hats get distributed, along with the kazoos and fortune cookies^^.

Actually, I don't know and am dying to find out come Friday myself. Does anyone have a SERIOUS answer?! Is there Koolaid?

Orientation is just a drunken orgy. Spliff can tell you all of the details.

Orientation is a drunkfest where teachers will play grabass with each other. It's a waste of time.

Laughing You're probably making it sound like exciting fun for many here. Now, they'll all want to go.

Two years at GIPIK and the only thing I've been to was the Everland thing and I'd hardly call that an orientation...more like a one day winter wank. Anyway dude, you ought learn to troll better...you're making a piss-poor effort of it.

What happens during the first few days of orientation?

I picture an initiation into the secret society of Korean English teaching with ritual kimchi baths and seaweed serenades^^. No wonder so many drop out!

I'm expecting it to be like the band camps I went to in high school, only without the part where we have to actually do anything. Shuffled around all day between various "activities", regular feeding times, shared rooms, curfew is 10pm. Something like that.
