I love watching those old school fights.
"It looks like we are going to have a donnybrook..." - FAVORITE line of all those videos.
Thanks for posting. It really makes me miss Canada when I see those old NHL vids. |

Larry Robinson was always a class act. When he did get angry enough to drop his gloves, that was something to see! |

Wow, I'd forgotten about Terry O'Reilly.
Who was the best hockey fighter of all time? |

John Ferguson
Clark Gillies
Marty McSorley before he went insane
I definitely nominate Kocur for best one time knock out punch. Jim Kyte will definitely testify to this. |

How could you forget Stu Grimson aka "The Grim Reaper"
and "The Missing Link" aka Link Gaetz?
I had the pleasure of meeting Tie Domi when he was playing with the New York Rangers..He told me his toughest opponent at the time was lefty Dave Brown of the Flyers...there are also those involving Rob Ray...I'll never forget the good ol azz kickin' he gave to a drunk fan who ran onto the ice during a Buff/Que game in the Colisee...
I have to concur with the person who said Joey Kocur had the hardest punch...a lot of one punch ko's there...
Look for some classic John Kordic/ Chris Nilan (mtl)vs Jay Miller/Lyndon Byers (Boston) fights, classics! |
