Are you in need of a good steak fix? - then look no further than GRILL-ONE in Western Dom at Ilsan. They have a mix of steak & seafood dishes but there is one particular item on the menu that will catch the eye of all hungry foreigners - "ALL YOU CAN EAT STEAK - 18,000". No, that is not a mistake - Australian steak for 18,000 Won and the staff will keep asking "another 2 pieces of steak Sir?"
We were served mainly tender juicy rump steak. It tasted just like a King Island yearling rump from back home. There were also a couple of serves of rib fillet and bolar blade - all very tasty.
I forgot to mention that the steak is served with a small side salad and a few vegetables for those who really care. You will not get vegetables with the additional serves of steak unless you ask - just steak!
One disgusting member of our group ate between 10 & 12 pieces of steak in one sitting.
One word of warning - the chef seems to undercook the steak a little, so if you want medium rare - order medium.
AND GET IN EARLY BEFORE THEY GO BROKE!

Damn you! And I had already planned out a weekend of lazing around the house. Guess I'll be hiking it up to Ilsan and wearing my 'loose' pants. Seu-tay-keu mukja!

For those near Gangnam and are looking for unlimited steak for one price, you can also try Brasilia:

All you can eat steak for 18,000 won? What's the catch? Is it last year's meat? Thanks man, but I think I'll pass...

No catch. I have been there twice and can vouch for the steak. It was tender and tasty. Definitely a good quality rump.
The manageress spent 3 years in Melbourne and speaks pretty good English. She said she would be happy to see the place full of foreigners eating the "all you can eat" menu. It is well worth the trip.

how is this financially possible. Are the drinks 50,000 won?

I have to back up AussieB here.
I just got home from my third trip to Grill One in Ilsan. The steak is fantastic and the staff just keep offering you more as soon as your plate is getting close to empty. The beer is 'normal' price so I guess they are making their money on some of the other items on the menu.
The staff are friendly, the beer is cold and the steak doesn't stop....the perfect restaurant.
