I'm nominating Die Hard 4. I wasn't expecting much from this movie, but some of the scenes left me gagging. Ie: the car going flying through the air and taking out the helicopter.

Unlike others, I enjoyed Transformers alot.

Juno was horrible.

I didn't find it funny at all. The dialogue was contrived, and the girl playing the title character was flat out annoying.

I expected much more from a film with both Michael Cera and Jason Bateman. Arrested Development is (was) one of the funniest and most intelligently written shows on TV.

I have to add, or second, "American Gangster." That was a waste of two hours of my life. It would have been better spent on watching animated porn.

Oh, Juno was actually awesome. For those of you with questionable taste I will provide my favorite movie quote. From the lips of the auteur Alexandro Jodorowsky on his brilliant film "El Topo"...

"If you're great it's a great picture, if you're limited El Topo is limited."

I like this one better:

"Simple minds are easily amused."

I didn't like Juno.

Rush Hour 3 could have been better and performed better at the box office.

Hitman.

I agree that The Simpsons was just a long TV episode. D-war was downright confusing. It took me 2 days to watch Zodiac, but I thought it was just okay -- kind of like Korean food. Superbad was funny, not great. I thought 28 Weeks later was the most disappointing, but maybe it was just my crappy pirated copy. I still haven't gotten around to Transformers.

Transformers is really a kids movie. If you expect more you won't enjoy it. If you aren't expecting something serious you will probably enjoy the first part quite a bit and eventually become disinterested as the wise-cracking gives way to non-stop action which isn't intense enough to keep you interested for a whole 40 minutes. At least that was what happened to me.

However, I don't know how you can put Die Hard on there, sure it's over the top, but isn't that basically the whole point of a Die Hard movie? The humor was a bit contrived, but I still found it funny, and I swear Bruce Willis isn't even acting in that movie, that's just what he's like; and I find that hilarious as well.

Cloverfield has already won 2008.

Didn't like Atonement at all.

And I'm someone that actually likes boring English class struggle dramas. I watched it with 2 women, both big fans of melodramatic love stories, and they weren't even able to finish it...they both got bored and walked away. I finished it out of sheer willpower, but I would never fault someone who couldn't.
