I'm looking to meet other people who have this visa for an occasional get together. If anyone else is interested in meeting for the occasional chat about life in korea: investing, jobs, visa regulations, opportunities, or just meeting similar people pm me so we can meet up.
I live in seoul and currently spend my working hours filled doing private lessons which provides me no contact with "foriegners" at all during the week. I thought it would be useful to meet other similar people to pass around ideas about life in Korea. There are always job/financial situations that can make our lives better. I'm personally living on an "island" in the sense that I don't know any other married guys/gals out there.
Pm me if your interested in meeting on a weekend some time. |

Networking & meeting other long timer / lifer's would be a lot more productive and potentially better than with just the E-holders.
I'd be up for a meet

I have not been here a long time but I would be interested in meeting other ladies married to Korean men. I have been married about 8 months. |

I might be up for it. Let us know when and where. Might be hard with the little one though. Can I bring a baby? |

Didn't this topic come up here, also? http://fvisateacher.com/board/
I tried to checked back there, but the site appears down now.
If I remember correctly, someone had suggested Suwon. However, I'd like to meet up in Seoul somewhere. How about a restaurant...Mexican food? Anyone have other suggestions or recommendations? I'm suggesting a restaurant, because many of us may want to bring our families. |

This would be interesting. If this is set up and others think they can stomach my presence, let me know when and where. I'd try to make it. |

So, this will be where you guys all sit around in monocles and top hats, smoking cigars and cackling over the potential gains of less E2 holders to compete for jobs with?
I can see it now...
"... That's nothing, old chap! I charge three hundred an hour for a group class of four in Songpa Gu."
"Ha! Ha! Good one, old boy! Good one!"
"Life is indeed good, gentlemen."
"May I propose a toast? To our wives! With them at our sides, we shall never work hard for our wages again!"
"Here! Here!"

That's ridiculous. I haven't worn a monocle since my lasik surgery. |

I'm not really too sure what people are up for. I thought something easy this Saturday afternoon or early evening for coffee or some beers somewhere central like Gangnam or Hongdae, or Hyewha.
Let me know what your thoughts are. |
