I never found an english speaking one, so I usually just show up with a picture of Sailor Moon, point to myself, point to the tape measure, point to myself again, then back to Sailor and we're off to the races.
Theoretically it could work for other characters as well. |

I hope you are female.
I'd love for my girlfriend to Cosplay as Rin Tohsaka of fate/Stay night. The miniskirt/high knee socks combo is irresistible. |

I know of one place that sells that kind of stuff is in the basement floor of Doota. It's stuff for women only, though.
You can also get that stuff from www.legavenue.co.kr or www.legavenue.com .
My wife got a Halloween costume there once. |

No, I am manly as can be. What, John Wayne can wear a mumu and J. Edgar a trollop's frock, but I can't dress up in something nice once in a while?
I was just kidding, btw. Not that there's anything wrong with grown men dressing like cartoon characters! It's just not really my thing. |

Cosplay can be alright to see:
On the other hand, there's Man Faye:
On the other other hand, you get stuff like this:
Which typifies the sort of images I found on Google search for "cosplay" far more than any jerk dressed as a stormtrooper. So it may turn out to be a good thing after all.
Hard call, really... |

-It just goes to show you in Asia...you can be nerdy and sexy. Actually I wonder, I read about all these girls who complain about their ganer boyfriebds/husbands ignoring them...maybe they should try dressing up like Chun-Li. Garter Belts and corsets aren't to everyone's taste per se. |
