I will admit that Pizza Hut has went way down hill in recent years worldwide. I always considered Dominoes to be the lousiest Pizza place after Little Ceasers went out of business. What I could never figure out was the frat guys' obsession with Dominoes because every time I ate any I would tell myself I was glad someone else had paid for it. In Korea pizzas are very expensive mostly because of the cheese. Has anyone priced a brick of Mozzarella lately? Still as other posters pointed out there are always good alternatives. There was a pizza place near where I used to live in Pohang where I could get a loaded large pizza for about 12,000 won. Lots of cheese also. The best deal I ever found was at a place called Il Pasto in Deagu where they had a 4,000 Won pizza and drink deal. It wasn't too bad.
If there's one thing I am sick of on these threads is when people gripe about there being corn on a pizza. I have never eaten corn on any pizza I have ordered in Korea. Simply because I tell the person taking my order than I don't want any corn on it. If they do not understand I say the word corn and make an X sign with my hands. They always get the point.

Yeah, I never ate it back home. Well except for when one came to our town in the 80's. Thought it wasn't too good then. We always ordered from local pizza joints.

I had it by chance at a student's home in Taiwan and thought it was bland. Also tried their overpriced lunch buffet in Taiwan. Again, not good.

Refused to even take a glance at a sign in Korea.

According to http://www.littlecaesars.com/ , they're still around.

Thank God for that!

And to whoever said they were gone, I hope that was just your idea of a cruel joke!

They went out of business in the central US where they pulled most of their stores several years ago. They may still be around elsewhere. Basically, Little Ceasers subsisted on a crack marketing campaign that brought lots of people into the stores, but sadly didn't deliver the kind of goods that would keep them coming back. The pizzas were not much better than a Red Baron rising crust pizza that you can get in the cold section of any supermarket and their pizzas cost three times as much as the afformentioned. Their whole campaign in the final years seemed to be based on pushing their "cheesy bread" which they found was not dynamic enough by itself to get people in. Hooters pulls a similar thing with their wings but then again they have a great supporting gimmick now don't they? I would say the crappiest Pizza around stateside now is Dominos. But previously LC had dibs on that classification.
If your LC pizza places actually served good pizza then that's probably why they're still around. The LC's where I lived were as bad as it got and there were just too many other places competing for peoples business.

I haven't had an LC pie in at least 15 years ...they may well have gone downhill. They did have great ads, though.
