I absolutely LOVE guiness. So much so I drink about a can a day when I have it or if not, red wine for dinner nearly every night.

-guess its back to the beer. Cass Red is my new, I'm poor, favorite. 2 cans works mighty well to make you buzzed after work.

Seriously, anything brewed in accordance with the Reinheitsgebot of 1516 is not that bad for you at all, as long as you don't over-do it...I can drink six Becks (not the finest, but hey, it's exported cheap) and dance a jig in the morning. Six casses? Not so dancey come morning.
Coke, though, is vile toothrot, good only for killing diabetics and fattening asses.
Tasty, though!

Alcohol kills brain cells... we've all heard that, but it turns out that it actually damages dendrites (the wiring of the cells).

Coca-cola leads to diabetes.
(i don't feel like looking it up)

In quantities as small as 500mL people probably don't need to be too concerned with either choice. It's only with overconsumption that we should consider the consequences.

I wonder why the OP didn't put Diet Coke in the poll as well...? Or Gatorade, or "energy drinks", or coffee... This could've made a really good debate.

In any case, he didn't, so I choose Coke.

Yeah he kind of biases the results. Beer and coke (with a reminder of the unhealthy things in coke).

Coke has sugar. Beer has alcohol, which comes from sugar. Coke has slightly more calories and more carbs.

I don't think either are necessarily unhealthy if one drinks one per day.

A pint of beer may help protect against heart disease more effectively than red wine or spirits, researchers have found.
