I know none of these are particularly obscure, but I'm hoping you all can hook me up with some I haven't heard of.
I nominate...
"Alpha Dog"... (good acting--especially the Jewish meth-head neo-nazi)
"30 Days of Night"... (dumb, but fun fun vampire bloodiness)
"Into the Wild"... (sad hippy story, nice camerawork)
"Michael Clayton"... (good lawyer flick--George Clooney)
"Warlords"...(Jet Lee/ Andy Lau do good battle scenes, turgid melodrama to follow)
That's all that pops to mind. What about you, good people? |

It's from 2006 and I don't know how obscure it was but I just saw Find Me Guilty and really enjoyed it. Vin Diesel. Who knew? |

May 18-Korean movie about the Gwanju Uprising. Very downbeat, bloody, and korean. I like the troops shooting the medics, guess we know where the directors sympathies lie. |
