|
|
Seoul City Improv will have a Valentine's Day comedy show this Thursday!
We have a show this Thursday, February14th at Orange Tree in Haebangchon at 10pm. To get there go to Noksapeong stn (line 6), go out exit 2, walk down the hill, at the bottom of the hill there will be lots of kimchi pots on your left, keep walking straight (going uphill now), you will get to a little area with bars and restaurants and there is a bar Phillies on the left, and a bar/restaurant Indigo on your right. Go to the second floor of Indigo -- that is Orange Tree. The total walk time from the subway is about 10 mins. The show will be about an hour and 20 mins, with a short intermission.
See you there!

For those who missed their Valentine's Day show (or want to see 'em again) they will also be performing at Rocky Mountain Tavern in Itaewon on Friday, Feb. 22 (along with bands "40 Years" and "The Millenium Seals") at a benefit for Animal Rescue Korea ...
Cover charge is 12,000 won (2000 won discount with flier) and all proceeds will help dogs at the shelter in Daejeon ...

I live a couple hours away from Seoul too, so I figure I'll have to stay overnight in a motel - at least for Friday. |

Anybody remember Babopalooza in Busan- foreigners arrested for acting in a comedy play that poked a bit of fun at Korea?
They were arrested and threatened with deportation.
If you're gonna do something like this, make d@mn sure you only say nice things about Korea- kimchi is amazing!!! |

Yes, the audience thought it was great.
However, the undercover police in the crowd did not appreciate it at all and proceeded with the arrest and investigation of the group.
The cops didn't think it was innocent humor at all.
All I'm saying is be careful! |
