hi, I have been really enjoying the jim jil bang in Bundang. Now I am living in Anyang. Would anyone in Anyang like to recommend a good jim jil bang?? Where can I find it? It is better located near subway station.

There's one behind E-Mart. I can't describe where it is exactly, but if you're walking down the strip towards Pyeongchon Station, it'll be at the end of that strip (but not past the subway) and all the way to the right before you hit the road and the hospital.

It's on the 9th floor, I think, and there's a meathouse and some other restaurants on the first floor.

Maybe someone else has better directions.

Me and my wife hated that jimjilbang (I think it's called Family Sauna or something like that). Basically, the sauna rooms are WEAK. It's impossible to work up a good sweat. Also, as he mentioned, that jimjilbang is in Pyeongchon, and you are in Anyang.

The one that me and my wife ended up picking as *our* jimjilbang was about halfway between Anyang and Pyeongchon and was called "DoDo Sports Center" (DoDo is pronounced so it rhymes with "hobo" btw). It's in the lower level, I think B2 of the building. Every taxi driver knew exactly where it was, should be about 3,000-4,000 from Anyang. Our criteria for picking a good jimjilbang is that it must accomodate male/female and have sauna rooms that are hot...the hotter the better. That was the best one I found in the area, although I'm sure there are other good ones.

Theres Anyang World, its hard to describe how to get there, but if you jump in a taxi and say : Anyang World-u" most taxi drivers now where it is. Its in the basement of a an older lottemart supermarket. Its great, I used to live next door.

near beomgye station there's a good one on the 9th floor above outback steakhouse. i go there on a weekly basis.
