Yesterday at immigration I was told that my family didn't have to leave the country to renew their visas when I renewed my contract. Great!

I had another question, but the fellow there couldn't understand me.
My family is going home for a visit in a couple of weeks. (They have their multiple entry ammendements.)
While they are there, they were going to buy round-trip tickets <there-to here-to there>

My question is...for an F3 visa, do they need to have an onward ticket when returning to Korea? Or can they come back here on a one-way ticket, and buy a return ticket for their next journey?

Anyone? Ttompatz?

They don't need to complete landing cards either just customs cards.

They get to walk through the Korean channel with their ID cards at the passport control. Not the best thing with a million of them, foreign one can be quicker

If they have re-entry permits and F3 visas they can come and go as they please and only require entry tickets to Korea. Departure (from Korea) tickets are not required.

Cool, thank you ttopmpatz. I talked to immi, and got two different stories. One I did need, and one I didn't need. Didn't need made more sense.
