Did anyone else see Jumper? I saw this movie at CGV Imax on Saturday. It was a great movie. Hayden battled Samuel L, again.

Saw it on the weekend. Good but I couldn't help wondering when the prequel will come out. How did these Jumpers come into being and why exactly were the paladins created. I'm sure there will be a prequel to this movie in the near future.

Saw it Saturday. It sucked - Big Time.

If you don't believe me, check out the reviews at Rottentomatoes.com

3% from Top Critics, 16% from all Critics.

I think that's lower than D-War Smile

Yeah, but to be fair, look at the marks that Titanic got.

80 something percent for the biggest piece of shit to ever hit the theater.

I thought it was bad. I get free tickets for megabox, so I wasn't totally pissed off.

It was a good movie. Was it GREAT? No.

Oh, and a lot of those negative online reviewers have had a problem with Hayden C for years. Many are Star Wars freaks who wanted someone else to get the "Anakin to Darth" acting job.

Hayden Christianson is a decent actor outside of science fiction.

I thought this movie sounded interesting so I'll be sure to download it soon. It strikes me as the kind of movie that will be shown nonstop on Korean movie channels soon enough.

It was good. I never read the book, but I didn't mind the action/adventure aspect of it because that really is the coolest power to have evar. Anyways, Hayden, jeez, baby, use those facial muscles once in a while, eh? It's called "acting". And why does he always get the brooding adult baby roles? Maybe "Star Wars" was Hayden's "Bill & Ted", and this is his "Speed"... Oh, the movie. There was a lot of glossing over details that kinda bugged me, but whatever. I just enjoyed all the locales. Kinda annoyed that the Scottish dude got tangled up in the end...

Every critic talked about the movie's HUGE plot holes.

What plot holes they talking about?

Maybe not "holes", but lingering "WTF?!" feelings...

-How/why do jumpers exist?
-Why do the jumpers leave a wormhole behind?
-Why do paladins want to kill everyone connected to jumpers? (And for that matter, why kill jumpers? If they've been around for as long as legend claims, jumpers would most like be incredibly power people, the social elite, creme de la creme...)
-If jumpers can really teleport with such expertise, then why can't they kill the paladins? In the middle ages they were psychos with swords and now they're yuppies with glowsticks. Honestly, if he weren't so fulla himself, Griffin could have wiped them from the map.
-David never gets questioned about disappearing for 8 years by Millie and no girl in her right mind would jump on a plane with the legally dead.
-Maybe this is playing into Hayden's "adult baby" persona, but David never seems to have moral issues about anything. Could also be freshman-itis.
-And let's not forget David's mother - first she risks her identity amongst the devoted to save her abominable son, and then claims that she's "giving him a head start"?! Suuuure...

I finally found a suitable description for Hayden's "acting": sullen air of lazy entitlement. PERFECT!!!
